Bedoom Redo Reveal

After sharing my vision for my bedroom redo in December, I'm excited to finally be sharing updated pictures! It's been a bit of a drawn-out process since I wanted to make sure I was only buying pieces I really loved and since I spent the majority of those months in school. I'm still putting a few finishing touches on the place, but I wanted to get this posted before I leave for school (this Saturday!) so this is as good as it's going to get.

Also, I apologize for how dark these pictures are. My room is incredibly dim, even with LED lights, and the camera's flash was broken. At least I tried!

D.C. Bucket List

1:30am at the Washington Monument

I realize that not everyone is as fortunate as I am to get to spend her college years in a city like Washington, D.C. As a result, I want to be very intentional about taking full advantage of the city during the three years I have left at Georgetown. I made a bucket list, hoping that it will aid me in doing so. Check out the things I plan to do in the coming school year!

Eleuthera Recap

As I've mentioned quite a few times already, my family vacation this year was to the Bahamas, specifically the island of Eleuthera. Eleuthera is a quirky place; in fact, we saw cars with bumper stickers rightfully proclaiming that "Eleuthera isn't for everyone." It's still very natural and for the most part undeveloped, so its residents live simply. That's primarily why Eleuthera is such a lovely vacation destination though. The raw beauty of its countless beaches and clear waters is unparalleled, and you never know when you'll stumble upon the prettiest beach you've ever seen!

We rented an incredible house called Heart's Ease, which was on the beach and only a couple minutes from the town of Governor's Harbour. Since our trip was slightly untraditional, I've created a photo diary instead of using my typical travel recap post format. Read on to see the things we did!
